“I have a younger sister who is never impressed at anything I do. Anything I accomplish, she’s never impressed at… She’s a special needs [kid], so she doesn’t really understand anything that I’m doing, or achieving, or anything like that. And I’ll tell her, ‘Hannah, guess what, your brother got a Golden Globe!’ And she’s like, ‘That’s nice, how are the dogs?’ She’s just uninterested. And I remember one time, I was being a good big brother and I took her to Jamba Juice, just her and I, and these people asked for my photo and I took a photo with them. When they asked ‘Oh, can we get a photo with you,’ my sister goes, ‘Why?’”
It’s almost good that she doesn’t get it, right?
Chris: “I know! It’s fantastic.”

“[Christopher] was the center of [Hannah’s] world, taking the time to do whatever she wanted to do. Chris was absolutely selfless when it came to his sister – he gave up a great deal of his social life for her… You know, when Chris was growing up, people would ask him, ‘Are you going to become a doctor so you can find a cure for your sister?’ And he would say, ‘I’m going to grow up and become a famous actor so I can pay someone ELSE a ton of money to find a cure.’” - Karyn Colfer

I love this. He’s just such an inspiration.

He is so sweet and selfless. I’ve decided, if I ever get to meet him, I’m going to just hug him and say thank you. He’s an inspiration, and the thing is, he doesn’t even seem to realise it.
